Since it was announced a few months back, the Alexander Wang designer capsule collection for H&M has had fashion enthusiasts in a tizzy. I recently got to sneak peek the collection at H&M’s showroom in New York and pick out a few pieces. The collection, which arrives to stores worldwide on November 6th, is sure to sell out. Heavy on black and mixed materials, the collection is very Alexander Wang; his design fingerprints are apparent in each piece. My favorites from the collection were the accessories – the sneakers, beanies, and small goods (including a wicked pair of boxing gloves) played off the edgy, sporty vibe of Wang’s inspiration for the collection.
I opted for the neoprene sneakers, which feel like they’re part of a larger scuba set, and the mesh tank. The pieces fit well and are incredibly well-priced. If you’re interested in snagging a piece or ten from the collection, you better act fast! November 6th in stores… get it before it’s gone!
