I’ve always found Valentine’s Day to be an enigmatic holiday. I’ve been in my fair share of relationships and been happy to celebrate blossoming love – but over the last few years, while I’ve been wonderfully single, I see Valentine’s Day memorabilia in every shop like a universal taunt against singlehood.
