As you know, I’m working in tandem with GQ magazine and GAP to reveal the new crop of theBest New Menswear Designers of America. Each year, GQ choose four standout favorites to create collaborative capsule collections for GAP’s menswear offering. The full collection will be released in September, but until then, I’ll be sporting standout pieces from each brand.

This month, we’re talking about Stampd, an L.A.-based brand with the understated elegance we’re all looking for in streetwear. Designer Chris Stamp doesn’t love the term “streetwear” but says that the brand at its core is “luxury streetwear… something casual and modern.”

For Stamp, who was practically born wearing black, his brand crafts pieces that any guy can wear – to the office, to happy hour, on the weekend – any place where he wants to feel comfortable and confident with his wardrobe. Four years in and Stampd is already made major waves in the menswear industry and it continues to gain incredible momentum.

Check out more from Stampd and shop GAP’s current menswear offering to get your wardrobe summer-ready. West Coast vacation, anyone?
