November is one of my favorite months – not only because the weather is incredibly beautiful but because men’s health takes center stage with “Movember.” If you’ve been living under a rock, the Movember Foundation is the only global charity solely focused on men’s health, raising funds to deliver innovative, breakthrough research and support programs that enable men to live happier, healthier and longer lives (with a focus on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention). During Movember, men are challenged to Grow a moustache or make a commitment to get active and Move. Not only do these commitments raise vital funds but they also generate powerful and often life-changing conversations.
This season, I’m stoked to partner up with Express to proudly support the Movember Foundation! Express has created these fun t-shirts to show their support – and they’re super cozy, too! I want to encourage you to sign up and show YOUR support at Movember.com. You can choose to Grow a moustache for 30 day, commit to Move for 30 days of physical activity, Host an event in your local area, or donate!
So my favorite guys and girls – can I count on your support? It’s such an easy commitment and you’ll be helping keep me and all of your favorite guys healthier and happier for years to come!
As a global charity, the Movember Foundation is uniquely positioned to spark innovation and foster collaboration across men’s health disciplines. The foundation is one of the largest non-government investors in research and quality of life initiatives for men that impact the global population. In 2016, NGO Advisor ranked the Movember Foundation 55th out of the top 500 NGO’s worldwide.
