No matter what item it may be, personalization always takes gift-giving to the next level. I love receiving gifts that show special steps were taken to make this gift more than perfect for me: a hand-crafted card made with my favorite colors, a new pouch to handle my expanding collection of art supplies, or my initials stitched on a new bag or jacket. It’s the little things that take a thoughtful gift from special to extraordinary.
I recently got the chance to partner with Fossil and stop by their flagship 5th Avenue store to experience these “little things” first-hand, along with my friend Rach Martino. The Fossil team allowed me to pick out a bag and watch the customization and embossing process from start to finish. I was able to see their embossing guru John add a touch of silver to my Mercer Stripe Workbag. I opted for my initials ‘JTL’ but you can honestly add just about anything you’d like during the process.
If you’re in New York City, don’t hesitate to stop by. Fossil is hosting embossing events every Saturday from 1PM-5PM … RSVP here! Once you’ve purchased your favorite Fossil pieces, take them over to the embossing station and let John work his magic. If you’re anything like me, you won’t be disappointed.
