After a week recharging my internal battery in Los Angeles, I’m happy to be back on my hamster wheel in New York City. I love traveling but being away from home so often means I’m juggling to keep my home life and travel life in proper balance. My days have been running together a bit, so much so that yesterday I packed my backpack and hiked over to a local coffee shop for work. It wasn’t until a friend texted me that I realized it was Sunday (and not a Monday morning).
This was a look I shot with my pal Anthony about a week and a half ago. If you’ve read Scout Sixteen for a while you know how much I love a sport casual outfit. Comfort is my number one goal when getting dressed every morning. I love this Chicago Bulls t-shirt emblazoned with #23, a nod to Michael Jordan that will never get old. Since I was just running errands, I paired the look with my new Teva sandals and this slick gold necklace from Half United.
This necklace comes with a pretty cool donation, too: half of all proceeds go to fighting hunger across the globe. Over 115,000 children have been fed with purchases made on Half United since 2010! I always like knowing my money is going to a great cause.
