Justin Livingston Men's Levis 501 Day

Blue Jeans, James Dean

This post is sponsored by Levi’s and ShopStyle.

I’m no stranger to the everlasting denim-on-denim trend. Most of the photos I have of me as a kid are in some form of the “Canadian Tuxedo.” In the earliest photo, I’m 4 years old wearing a muddy denim button-down, elastic waist jeans, and a beaming smile… and I’ve been hooked ever since. And can you blame me? It’s not hard to look (and feel comfortable) in double denim.

Justin Livingston Men's Levis 501 DayThis Levi’s® look is one that I could probably wear all spring – classic Levi’s® 501 Original jeans ripped at the knee, a slim white tee, and an oversized denim trucker jacket. These 501® Original jeans are some of my favorite I’ve picked up from Levi’s® recently because the fit is just so spot on. They’re that classic Americana 501® fit with a little extra stretch making them the perfect blank canvas for any warm weather outfit. The logo tee ups the ante on the classic Levi’s® batwing logo with a cheeky neon sign treatment and this jacket turns the classic Trucker Jacket on its head by… well, turning it inside out! The second I saw the Trucker Jacket on the Levi’sÒ website I knew I had to have it. As Ariana says, “I want it. I got it.”

This month Levi’s® is celebrating their iconic 501® jeans because on May 20th, 1873 Levi’s invented the blue jean with the creation of the 501®. The 501® is the ultimate canvas for self-expression.  Levi’s® invites you to customize them and make them personal because this 501® day we are all collaborators!
