Nestled between minimalist white boutiques on Elizabeth Street in SoHo, A.B. Biagi stands out in bright canary yellow. The vibrant exterior may lure you in, but it will be the first taste of owner (and all-around stud) Antonio Biagi’s artisinal creations that keeps you coming back for more. Flavorful gelato, perfectly-brewed espresso, and exotic teas show off quietly-crafted formulas culled from Biagi’s extensive world travels.
I stopped by A.B. Biagi with friends last week for a summer snack. I opted for a coffee and double scoop of gelato – for future reference, mixing the coconut and peanut butter flavors is pure heaven. If you get a chance to stop by the shop, you won’t regret it. I warn you: the gelato is so sinfully delicious so you’ll be tempted to get seconds. I know I did.
