Layering is by far my favorite part of the winter season. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 degrees, I’m pulling out all the stops: button-down under a sweater under a hoodie under a topcoat. A little overboard… maybe. But I just can’t get enough!
Last week, I popped in to Macy’s Herald Square to pick up some layering pieces to add to my cold weather wardrobe (now that we’re *finally* having wintry weather) and I snagged some pretty awesome pieces. I paired these Levi’s jogger jeans with this incredible pair of brown Florsheim Boots. This green North Face Zip-Up Jacket was the perfect complement to the waffle-knit shirt from Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren – I especially liked how insanely warm both pieces ended up being. To top off the look, I added this beanie from one of my favorite brands, WeSC.
Since it’s the holiday season and I’m in the giving spirit, I decided to share some of my favorite layering pieces from Macy’s to jumpstart your winter wardrobe and get a head start on those New Years Resolutions to “dress better” (we all do it, believe me…).
