Cools Off

It’s hard to believe that summer is almost coming to a close – I’m soaking up those last few days with park picnics, rooftop happy hours, and the occasional day trip to Rockaway Beach. If you’ve been following along with me this summer, you know it’s been one wild ride with near-constant traveling but, thankfully, things are slowing down now.

I met up with a few friends yesterday for burgers and fries (and some delicious frozen mock-tails) at the Indigo Hotel’s rooftop spot, Mr. Purple. I wore my new Barney Cool’s Indigo Shorts… how fitting! I’m absolutely in love with this newcomer brand from Sydney that I discovered at Bloomingdale’s this month. I love the laid-back summery vibes these shorts give my look – and, let’s be honest, I’m ALL about summery vibes.

If you haven’t checked out Bloomingdale’s lately, they’re even more on their ‘A Game’ than usual! Their newest digital lookbook is deliciously ‘90s and I am beyond obsessed. Bloomingdale’s is one of my favorite place for trend forecasting; they’re always ahead of the curve… and it doesn’t hurt that I only live a stone’s throw from their Soho store. (My bank account would say otherwise. Haha.)
