Americana My Way

The Winter Olympics may be over but my love for Americana continues to linger. There’s something incredibly nationalistic about pairing any combination of red, white and blue. I partnered with American Eagle Outfitters on a fun and spirited challenge with my blog pals Marcel (of One Dapper Street) and Freddy (of Blue Perk) to style this striped sweater to reflect what ‘Americana’ means to us.

Personally, I feel the spirit of the United States lies within the ‘impossible cool’ of American-made products. From thick suede monk strap shoes (like this J.D. Fisk pair) to buttery leather apparel (like this Kenneth Cole motorcycle jacket), American-made pieces are gaining new momentum in the retail space… and I must say, I couldn’t be more thrilled!
