When I moved to New York almost six years ago, I never thought my life would be where it now. I’d always hoped that I’d be doing what I love with people I care about and seeing the world … what actually happened was so much better. I’ve met some of the most amazing people in the world and been afforded experiences of fantastical proportions! From the sounds of taxis making cacophonous music to the way the Starbucks barista can never get my name right (…really, Gustyn?!), every experience big and small is welcomed with open arms because… I live in New York F*cking City. Six years later and I still can’t believe it. (*pinch me*)

Do you have a favorite New York memory?

  1. I can’t name one favorite NYC moment. One would have to be my first visit to Central Park. Seeing the lake house featured on 27 Dresses, eating a “hot dawg,” seeing performers all throughout the park, it was just breathtaking. The second would be being able to meet Brad Goreski in the FIT bookstore and get him to sign a copy of his book for me. I can’t wait to one day be a NYC citizen!
