With the madness of of Men’s Fashion Week in full swing, I was so thrilled to get the opportunity to spend a few nights (of pure bliss) at the Viceroy’s insanely stunning Central Park location. As you’re probably well aware, I love a good stay-cation… any chance to sleep in a plush bed in a room that I don’t have to tidy up later is heaven.

The first thing you notice about the Viceroy is how impeccably the design fuses with the atmosphere. The team behind Viceroy Central Park (and their other global locations) have crafted a space that blends the collected cool of New York’s downtown neighborhoods with the chic sophistication of their uptown sisters. No detail is left purposeless – and it’s apparent from the moment you walk in the door.

My room was on the 27th floor overlooking a sweeping view of Central Park, the Upper East Side, and the Upper West Side. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t squeal a little when I walked in to my room – as you can see from the pictures, it was incredible. I felt like I had stepped back in time to a much more dapper era in New York… and that leather chaise, I mean c’mon – so cool!

I can’t thank the Viceroy team enough for giving me a relaxing home away from home for the week – the staff was beyond accommodating and the food was epic. If you’re headed to New  York soon or you’re a New Yorker wanting a little in-town getaway, I highly suggest the Viceroy Central Park… but warning, you’ll never want to leave!

And ps – be sure to check out their ground floor restaurant, Kingside. They make the best damn burger and fries I’ve had in ages! And if you’re looking for one of the hands-down best views of the City (and a classic lounge cocktail) head up to The Roof at the Viceroy. I recommend going at sunset and be sure to bring your camera because the photo opps are endless.
