From oversized boss coats and silky sheer layers to leather separates and novel accessories, FW24 had a slew of menswear hits. But one of my personal favorites? Embracing bold, patterned knitwear.

If you’ve spotted your favorite fashion creators flexing statement sweaters and standout cardigans lately, you’re onto something big. Gone are the days of playing it safe with solid neutrals. As they say: go bold or go home!

Styling Tips
To hit a home run here: pair your statement knit with understated basics – think solid-colored trousers or classic denim so the sweater takes center stage. And if you’re feeling extra adventurous, opt for shirts/pants in contrasting colors.

My Personal Take
Since this red/red-violet patterned ASOS sweater makes such a bold statement, I balanced the look with muted yellow Zara jeans (similar). Classic white sneakers and a white CK tank top were the perfect finishing touches.
