I love a lot of things: Free time. Blueberry cheesecake. Payday. But near the top of my list (especially in fashion) are products made in America. I’ll be the first to admit that, like any country, the United States has its woes but – damn – we know how to make a sweet thing. From hand-crafted leather carryalls to decadent chocolates made with brotherly love, I get a little tingly feeling when I see something is made in the U.S.A. When Los Angeles-based designer Alex Khater contacted me about his clothing line LAEX, it was an instant hit for me. Luxe shirts without the $300 price tag and made in America… right on! Honestly, this striped tee is one of the best ones I’ve found yet! (I swear I wasn’t paid to say that…!)
