Plus, Topman is giving you the chance to win a £250 shopping credit so you can snag one of these looks… or craft your own outfit based around one of the 5 New Rules. So, what are these 5 New Rules? Let’s dive in!

Rule 1: Tuck It In

Out it out, y’all! Whether you’re rocking a vintage-inspired band tee or a fine-knit sweater, tuck it in. This two-second style tip can upgrade even the most casual of outfits!

Rule 2: Double Up

Everybody loves denim, right? And, this year, it’s time to embrace the Canadian tuxedo… fitting given our current political landscape, I’d say! [wink] Denim on denim has always been a favorite of mine – and a pop of bright color or a well-placed patch helps break up the monotony!

Rule 3: Crop & Contrast

One of the key silhouettes switching up the style game this season is a formal cropped trouser paired with a casual shoe. One of my favorites? You better believe it!

Rule 4: Keep On Track

Mix tailoring and track tops for a contemporary take on smart. If there’s one movement that’s pervading all elements menswear at the moment, it’s the merging of sports and smart!

Rule 5: Layer Game

Upgrade your shirt by layering a hoodie, sweat or long sleeve tee underneath. This is about having more fun with your layering. If you’re feeling adventurous, add a hoodie, sweater or knit under a shirt. It’s totally acceptable to make the shirt an overshirt. If your style is slightly more reserved, just use a t-shirt as your under-layer.
