It was the end of July 2013, and I was spending an inordinate amount of time trolling videos from my favorite YouTubers. One video, in particular, called “Huge Summer Primark Haul” peaked my interest. I hadn’t yet heard of Primark but I would soon become obsessed – firstly, because it was obvious Primark carried some seriously stylish product, and secondly, because I always want what I don’t have immediate access to.
Fast forward two years and Primark is finally bringing its unique blend of on-trend and affordable fashion across the pond onto U.S. soil. After 46 years of success in Europe, UK, and Ireland, Primark will be opening two American stores: a 77,000 square foot flagship location in Boston’s historic Burnham Building, with another store opening soon after in the King of Prussia mall in Philedelphia.
This week, I got the chance to test-drive a few key pieces from Primark’s menswear offering. I paired this insanely comfortable sporty sweatshirt with a pair of distressed slim-cut denim, and mustard rain slicker. I must admit, I was immediately addicted. I’ve always had a hard time finding stylish pieces with true slim silhouettes, but I don’t have to look any further. Primark is where it’s at!
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be cataloging additional looks in anticipation for Primark’s exciting September 10th opening in Boston, where I’ll be to ring in the stylish fun on Instagram (@justinliv) and Snapchat (@justinliv1) – be sure to follow along!
