And just like that – it’s winter in New York City. I don’t know who we ticked off but we’ve apparently lost all fall weather privileges. The only silver lining here is that my layering game is in full swing… and – naturally – I’m obsessed!
Last week, I picked up a few new pieces from Abercrombie & Fitch that have made layering up incredibly easy. I snagged this waffle-knit Henley, puffer vest, and ripped denim… but my favorite piece was definitely this plaid button-down. Admittedly, I have a slight obsession with plaid (as if that wasn’t incredibly obvious) so I didn’t just buy 1 plaid shirt – I bought 4. Whoops!
I’m not sure if the wintry weather has hit your city yet but if it has, I’d highly suggest stopping by Abercrombie & Fitch to pick up some of the latest layering pieces in-store. Trust me – they’ve got a lot of good stuff right now!

I love the plaid shirt! I’ve always wondered what I should layer a plaid shirt with because sometimes a regular tee is just too basic. So naturally I love this layering look. I’ve also been looking for a nice puffer vest but just haven’t found the right one. I’ll have to check out A&F.
Great post Justin!
Getting some lumberjack vibes with the look! Love the puffer and boots, such a great outfit for fall!
This would be a great look for Autumn in London as well as for Fall in New York. I wouldn’t go for the long-sleeved Henley because I like my wrists free, but the jeans are rather cool, and an excellent cut. All in all, a coherent and laid-back choice, perfect for the city.
