Fall is the season when I start re-discovering my love of patterns. During the summer months, I try not to stray too far from my desired minimalist color palette (think neutrals with a few small accents). But fall? No sir – I am headed into pattern play at full throttle. They always say the best approach is to dive in headfirst, right? At least, that’s what I’m telling myself…
First up, this Johnston & Murphy plaid shirt has all the elements for shirting success: neutral but vibrant color scheme, slim-fit through the chest, and split collar. While Johnston & Murphy is known primarily for their shoes, their menswear pieces are simply on-point. The shirt was the perfect complement to a day of meetings in the City – aided by my always-present partner in crime, my Moleskine notebook.
What are you bringing back into your fall wardrobes? Let me know in the comments!
