It’s common knowledge that New Yorkers stick together – the unsaid rule is: you take care of you own. New York accessories giant Coach recently collaborated with Brooklyn-based creative agency KRINK. The man behind the madness, Craig Costello (known commonly as KR) drew upon the grunge aesthetic of his native Queens in the mid-1980s. A carefully-executed collection crafted amazing results, like this amazing lock portfolio. Costello used a 30-step silk screening process to produce his signature drip effect.
As a lover of grungier pieces, I was an immediate fan. KRINK definitely re-envisioned Coach Men’s direction with this collaboration by bringing classic Coach styles onto the ‘street crowd’.
