I’m a little late on the game, but I wanted to share some more video from my exciting trip to Thailand last month. I had an absolute blast joining the Tourism Authority of Thailand on a whirlwind tour of the country. During this leg of the trip, we took a flight (via Bangkok Airways) to Chiang Mai in the northern part of Thailand. Once we landed in Chiang Mai, we were whisked to our insanely beautiful hotel, the Anantara Resort & Spa. I kid you not… it was one of the most breath-taking properties I’ve ever stayed in; it was a sanctuary of earthy elements and zen-focused spaces.
We took a Muay Thai class, sailed the Ping River on a sunset dinner cruise, and shopped the local night markets (where we got $9 90-minute foot massages). We also enjoyed an incredibly intimate dinner at the vintage-themed The Service 1921, located right on the property of the Anantara. A mixologist whipped up some of the craziest (and most delicious) cocktails we had all trip. On one of our final days, we hiked up the side of a mountain to visit the Wat Chalermprakiat temple, which offered breathtaking views of the Lampang Province. Our time in Chiang Mai ended with an experience that undoubtedly was my personal favorite: visiting Maesa Elephant Camp, where a big family of elephants live side-by-side with their mahout caretakers. See the full video below!
I can’t wait to share my third and final video with you tomorrow showing off my time in Krabi. It was so epic!
