When she brought it out, I knew something special was about to happen. My grandmother almost rarely wore it; it was saved for special occasions only. Yet, there it sat on the counter – with its mouth half-open in a grin – concealing an address scribbled on a Post-It note. She took me out to the car, saying we were going on an adventure.
