If thereās one item I almost never leave home without, itās a backpack. If youāve followed me on Scout Sixteen or kept up with me on social media, you know this to be true. Iām always on-the-go – either rushing between meetings in New York City or trekking between terminals across the globe ā so any accessory that can keep my hands free is an automatic āyesā for me. Itās like having the best sidekick everā¦ theyāre always along for the journey!
With that said, it comes as no surprise that I was stoked to partner with Backpacks.com to celebrate the launch of their fantastic new site and I even got to pen a piece discussing a time when a backpack was more than just an accessory – which’ll go live soon. I dive into my first fashion industry jobā¦ so if youāre keen to get a glimpse inside that world, go check it out!
Since many of you share my love for backpacks ā I wanted to give you a little introduction to the new Backpacks.com site. Itās honestly everything youād ever want in a site devoted to the sartorial sidekick. Iām not even kidding when I say I geeked out for almost an hour clicking around the editorial pages and exploring the shop.
The site is one of the first to offer quality, on-trend backpacks for (quite literally) any occasion ā from mountain trails to Wall Street and everything in between. And lord knows ā yāall know I love swimming in that in-between. Iām always looking for packs that can easily take me from a meeting in Midtown, to the airport, and into a Puerto Rican rainforest in the span of 24 hours. The stellar thing is the Backpacks.com shop offers that and so much more.
Here Iām showing off my Timbuk2 Cask Pack in Carbon. I mean ā cāmon ā how stunning is this backpack: incredibly stylish, practical for weekday-to-weekend, and grey. Check, check, and double-check! The clean lines and leather accents just make it that much better. [sigh] I just love it.
What do you think? Would you wear this pack?
If youāre looking to add a new backpack (or two!) to your fall wardrobe, definitely give Backpacks.com a go! And while youāre there ā donāt forget to check out my editorial piece!
