If you follow me on Instagram [shameless plug], you’ll have seen that IĀ was exploring the coastal city of Fajardo, Puerto Rico a few weeks back. Along with my best friend Serena (of the Spicy Stiletto), we joined sleepwear purveyor Jockey at the El Conquistador Resort while test-driving their newest activewear offering.
We got the chance to explore the massive groundsĀ of the El Conquistador – which is a Waldorf Astoria property – and enjoy a long list of their amenities. From sushi-making classes and mixology courses to a rainforest excursion and suntanning on a private island, we were treated like royalty… which was somethingĀ I certainly could get used to.
My favorite activity was – without a doubt – the rainforest walk. The El Yunque National Forest isĀ located near Puerto Rico’s northeastern coast and remains theĀ onlyĀ tropical rain forest in the United States National Forest System. The views were spectacular as one would imagine, but it was the intensely fresh air and powerful, naturalĀ aromasĀ of the lush foliage thatĀ made this personally special.
I can’t thank Jockey enough for sending Serena and I out there for a long weekend; it was a trip to remember!
