I look for inspiration in the strangest places – from the shape of a bicycle handlebar to the prism of color in oily water – and I feel like they find me. I know I’m going to sound like a Nepalese monk but, we’re all on a constant journey of mental and spiritual growth. Every facet of our being is taking in new and unusual experiences through our five senses. For me, if it came down to it, I would choose to retain my sight over the others.
To see color and movement is a special force in pushing my own personal creativity forward. It gets me asking questions, prodding me like an unseen phantom. The images above are just a very (very) small handful of the images I have in my inspiration archive. Many of these were pulled from the magical dreamblog that UK-based digital creator Iain Clairidge has crafted.
What inspires you? If you could only keep one of your senses, which one would it be?
