I was born to the music of Elvis Presley. From my earliest memories, my dad would educate my sister and I on his music. It didn’t hurt that we grew up around Memphis, Tennessee, one of the standout cities in music history. “Heartbreak Hotel,” “All Shook Up,” and “Blue Suede Shoes” were among the first few songs I would play endlessly while I played indoors. Over the years, I’ve altered so many aspects of my life, grown into adulthood, and moved to New York City… but I haven’t lost my love for Elvis and his impeccable style.
Last month, I was browsing through Nordstrom’s at The Grove in Los Angeles. I had just finished grabbing some new denim from their (fantastic) men’s denim shop. Just as I was about to leave, I spotted these epic shoes. The Nike ‘Stefan Janoski Max’ sneakers are like “blue suede shoes” for the modern guy; not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they’re also stylish enough to pair with just about any look. I’ve been wearing them almost non-stop since I got them! Now I just need to learn Elvis’ dance moves and I may have new career… [insert cheeky grin]
