A Single Man

I have a love-hate relationship with Valentine’s Day. Basically, I’d love to love Valentine’s Day but because I’m perpetually single, I hate it. Well – maybe hate is too harsh. I can appreciate what Valentine’s Day represents but (like every year) it’s just another day in February for me. I’ll run a few errands (bank, groceries, laundry) and then treat myself to an extra “cheat meal” for the week – thank god for Domino’s Pizza and Netflix, right?!

Since this Valentine’s Day is all about me– I partnered with Express to dress as comfortably and cozy (and as stylishly) as I can for my audience of one. Exhibit A à this casual look from Express Men. Let’s break it down… we’ve got a washed denim shirt over a two-tone waffle knit over a pair of slim-cut joggers. If that isn’t a recipe for A+ casual “dinner for one” style then I don’t know what is. [wink]

Well I’m off to answer a few emails, have a cup of tea, and wait for my pizza to arrive. To all my other single fellas/ladies out there, stay strong and keep it cozy.
